We're getting ready for a new registration process for this season. Everyone on our "interest" mailing lists will get an email from us with instructions on that new process once we get everything in place. If all goes to plan, that will be this Friday and Saturday.
Please refrain from using last year's registration process if you still have old links. We know you're all super excited but we're trying something new.
Payments for registration will be through a new system that the Meadowbrook foundation is using as well. Registration fees also increased slightly to $85 to help offset the cost of materials. Included with that fee is registration for the invitationals we compete in as well as the regional competition as well as a team shirt and most materials. For students in build events, those usually need a bit extra in terms of materials but we try to cover as much as we can from registration fees.
We're going to use ranked preferences this time for registration so that students can select their preferred events. That will make it easier for us to help people get into the events they want and will avoid the need to have to camp on the website waiting for the registration link to be posted. Students who's parents are volunteering as coaches will get priority in the popular events.
Class schedules are going to be a bit fluid as we start up and we know that is pretty rough with as many things as our kids are involved in. We'll do the best we can with the availability of coaches, students, and facilities but it might be that students have to change to other events to find a schedule that works for them.
